COMIC PIN-UPS_ Indiana Jones and the Golden God

Here's a fan fic concept I developed and illustrated as a gift for my cousin.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Star Wars or Indiana Jones mythologies, just know that this is really cool.

But, if you'd like an explanation, just know that Indy is carrying the head of the golden robot C3-PO and that he is worshipped as a god by a race of primitive feral teddy bears. Indiana Jones is an adventurous archeologist known for stealing religious artifacts from such feisty zealots.

See?

  2. Thanks Joe - I definitely had photo-ref on hand for the likeness but still tried to cartoon it with as few lines as possible.

Glad you dug the cross-movie reference.

And, everyone has to check out Joe's Blog! He's a super talented artist and you can just see him continue to excell with each drawing.

  3. Absolutely fantastic drawing! I am first and foremost an Indiana Jones fan, but love Star Wars also.

I never thought I'd see the day when Indy would be holding C3P0's head!

I can just picture it now.

C3P0:"I am fluent in six million forms of communication."
Indy: "It's not fair! I don't speak that many languages!"
